welcome to my tumblr! i go inactive for a few days at a time, i don’t post very much here, but i’m still an active user (most of the time).

about me:

you can call me bea (or astra/astral), and my pronouns are they/them.

i’m biromantic, aspec, and polyam. my gender labels are demigender and genderflux (i’m also comfortable with using umbrella terms like trans and non-binary).

i’m a minor, and i’m a chinese canadian in EST.

i have left and avoid interaction with the following fandoms (dni if you post a lot of these): harry potter, hamilton (and most big musicals, hadestown is okay)

dni if you are racist/misogynistic/sexist/homophobic/transphobic/ableist/xenophobic/classist/antisemitic/islamophobic, or discriminate against any other religion, lack basic respect for anyone, an nsfw account, proshipper (and/or support/ship pedophilic and/or incest ships), think pedophilia and/or incest is okay, or make casual problematic comments (like attack helicopter jokes)

Imagine: the Mai & Toph Friendship

• Complaining about their parents 
• Sparring, with Toph inspiring Mai to practice knife-throwing blindfolded (insert consequences here)
• Mai suggesting to her uncle that he use Toph to test out new security for the prison
• Toph taking Mai to rumble tournaments (unlike Suki, she is fine to just watch while pretending to be bored) 
• Toph being invited to all the fancy diplomatic dinners as a member of the Bei Fong family, with Mai and Zuko bickering over which one gets to sit next to her at dinner & gossip about the other guests and which one is left to schmooze and make small talk (let’s be real, Mai usually wins)
• Toph’s total disregard for “ladylike behavior” inspiring Mai to RELAX and let go of the rigidity forced on her by her parents
• Toph finally having someone who gets her anecdotes about being raised in upper-class society (Zuko was banished for the majority of his teenhood and plus he’s a boy so it was different for him)
• Toph being one of the only people who can tell when Mai is lying
